Chronology of Diplomatic Relations
Diplomatic relations between Georgia and the Republic of Colombia were established on June 6, 1997.
Working process is ongoing concerning the diplomatic coverage of Georgia through Columbia.
Along with the political dialogue between the two countries, cooperation is ongoing in the fields of economy, culture, education. Cooperation is ongoing between the relevant Ministries of the two countries and the academic institutions in order to develop specific projects in the abovementioned fields.
Political consultation mechanism is functioning between the parties and regularly high-level meetings are held within the International forums.
