Georgian Ambassador Meets Peru's Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs in Lima
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Peru, Zurab Mchedlishvili (with residency in Brazil), held a meeting with Eric Anderson, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Peru, as well as representatives of the Ministry's thematic directorates, during his visit to Lima.
The Georgian Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the Peruvian side for its steadfast support for Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, emphasizing that such a principled position provides a strong foundation for further strengthening the partnership between the two countries.
For his part, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Peru thanked the Georgian Ambassador for attending the inauguration ceremony of Peru's new President.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their readiness to continue close cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats and to promote the further development and deepening of relations between Georgia and Peru.
