On June 12, 2019, the Extraordinary Ambassador is Georgia's Plenipotentiary in the Federative Republic of Brazil - David Solomonia, met with the first Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Brazilian National Congress, Deputy Marcos Pereira.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for the future development of parliamentary cooperation between the legislative bodies of Georgia and Brazil.

In addition, they stressed the importance of parliamentary friendship groups and exchange of delegation visits.
