Georgia and Rio de Janeiro Discuss Expanding Cultural Cooperation
During a working visit to the State of Rio de Janeiro, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Federative Republic of Brazil, Zurab Mchedlishvili, held a meeting with Daniela Barros, Head of the State Department of Culture.
The meeting aimed to deepen cultural relations between Georgia and Brazil and identify new areas of cooperation. Discussions focused on the importance of strengthening the role of culture in raising awareness of Georgia in Brazil and developing new cultural initiatives in this regard.
The Ambassador highlighted significant developments in Georgia’s cultural sector in recent years and spoke about the growing international interest in Georgian culture.
The Brazilian side expressed its readiness to further strengthen cultural ties and cooperation between the two countries.
