Screening of Georgian Movie

With the support of the Georgian Ministry of Culture and the National Film Center, and organized by the Embassy of Georgia in the Federative Republic of Brazil, an event dedicated to Georgian culture and sports was held.

The evening was attended by representatives of Brazilian state institutions and the diplomatic corps accredited in the country. Addressing the audience, Ambassador of Georgia to Brazil, Zurab Mchedlishvili, spoke about the shared values between the two countries. Participants were also introduced to the history of sports development in Georgia and the steps taken by the Georgian government to further promote the growth of the sports sector.

As part of the event, a distinguished Georgian film, The First Swallow, was screened to mark the 100th anniversary of renowned Georgian film director Nana Mchedlidze. The evening continued in a discussion format.
